What this site uses

BirdHouse does not use advertising cookies, visitor analytics, or session-replay trackers. Our website saves display preferences only when you select them and remembers the cookie notice only when you dismiss it. Human verification on the interest form uses Cloudflare Turnstile.

Session storage is limited to the current site and browser tab’s session. It normally ends when that tab is closed, although browser session-restoration features can restore it. It is not a cross-site identifier and is not sent to a server by this website’s preference code.

The Privacy Policy covers website requests, hosting, enquiries, and early-access details. This page describes the public website, including documentation. It does not describe a future hosted BirdHouse product. There is no shopping cart, payment checkout, or account session on this landing page.

Display preferences

These preferences are saved only when you use their controls. Loading a page with default settings does not create preference entries.

All of these entries use session storage for the tab session. They contain display choices, not signup information. The public website does not read or modify dashboard preferences or legacy storage created by older versions.

Remembering this notice

Cookie-notice dismissal

First-party local storage, created only when you select “Got it.” It stores the notice version and the time you dismissed it, so the same notice stays out of your way for 90 days.

This entry is not sent to our server. It is not a visitor identifier or permission for marketing. After 90 days, or when the notice version changes, we show the notice again and remove the old entry when you next visit. Your browser can retain the entry until that visit or until you clear site data.

There are no optional tracking categories to accept. Dismissing the notice does not enable additional scripts or authorize any other use of your information.

Human verification

Cloudflare Turnstile checks browser and connection signals to help distinguish people from automated submissions. Cloudflare processes these signals to provide and improve bot detection, as described in its Turnstile Privacy Addendum. The verification token is sent with your interest request for a server-side check.

We configure Turnstile without pre-clearance. Its usual result is a short-lived, single-use token, rather than a cf_clearance cookie. The token expires after five minutes and is held with the form, not in this website’s local or session storage. This verification is for form security, not advertising or visitor analytics.

Cloudflare’s additional network security features can have separate cookie behavior. If the deployed site’s security configuration changes, we will update this inventory to describe the cookies actually used, their purposes, and their duration.

Your settings

Turn off saving to clear this website’s saved display preferences and use default settings. You can still use the display controls, but their choices will not carry to the next page. This setting applies to this tab.

You can also clear or block site storage in your browser. Browser controls may affect other data on the same origin, including a dashboard if it shares that origin. No signup data is stored by these display controls.
